8th March 2007, Cypress- The Bluffton University (Ohio) baseball team was in a bus accident while en route to Florida early last Friday morning which resulted in fatalities and injuries. Diamond Sports would like to express its heart felt sympathy to the Bluffton University baseball team, the baseball team’s supportive family, relatives, friends and Bluffton University, in wake of this tragic event. In the wake of this heart-rending accident, Bluffton University has set up a donation fund to support the baseball players and their families who are in much need of assistance at this extremely difficult time. To show its support, Diamond Sports has donated $1000 to this fund and urges the sports community to come together to help the Bluffton University baseball team cope with this unfortunate event.
