Supplemental Privacy Notice to California Residents


Under California Civil Code section 1798.83 (the “Shine the Light” law), California residents who provide personal information in obtaining products or services for personal, family or household use are entitled to request and obtain from us (once per calendar year and free of charge) certain information about the customer information we shared, if any, with other businesses for their own direct marketing uses. If applicable, this information would include the categories of customer information disclosed to the third parties for their direct marketing purposes and the names and addresses of third parties that received such information for the immediately prior calendar year.

What is Proposition 65?
The State of California's Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986 (commonly referred to as Proposition 65 or Prop 65) requires that consumers be provided with a warning when an environment or product may contain or expose them to any of the chemicals on the Prop 65 list.
What kinds of chemicals and materials are on the list?
The list contains a wide range of chemicals and materials which in some cases may be naturally occurring everyday elements, or synthetic. This list is updated periodically and includes more than 900 chemicals, many that are normally present in common materials, such as vinyl.
What does Proposition 65 require?
In order to comply with Prop 65, manufacturers are required to clearly post the warning label on or at the point of sale of applicable products if they may be sold in California in order to provide adequate notice to consumers.
What does a Proposition 65 warning mean?
It means that the manufacturer issuing the warning believes that one or more listed chemicals is present in its products, even if it is only present in trace quantities. Please be assured that Diamond products labeled in accordance with Proposition 65 comply with all applicable governmental standards, including those under the jurisdiction of the CPSC. Diamond labels applicable products as follows:
