Proposition 65
The State of California’s Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986 (commonly referred to as Proposition 65 or Prop 65) requires that consumers be provided with a warning when an environment or product may contain or expose them to any of the chemicals on the Prop 65 list. This list is updated periodically and includes more than 900 chemicals, many that are normally present in common materials, such as vinyl. In order to comply with Prop 65, manufacturers are required to clearly post the warning label on or at the point of sale of applicable products if they may be sold in California in order to provide adequate notice to consumers. Please be assured that any Diamond products labeled in accordance with Proposition 65 comply with all applicable governmental standards, including those under the jurisdiction of the CPSC.
