04.08.09 - Diamond Sports Renews Official Ball and Bucket Deal with Profastpitch X-treme

PFX TOUR 2009

Cypress, CA-Diamond Sports, after a very successful 2008 Tour, secures another year with Profastpitch X-treme Tour in 2009 as the official exclusive softball and bucket.

The sponsorship will cover softballs, buckets and other products for the eight city stops on the tour that runs May 29th through November 20th, 2009.  Profastpitch X-treme offers the chance for amateur athletes to meet with the elite professionals fastpitch athletes on the PFX Tour all across the United States.

 “Already having one very successful year under our belt with the Profastpitch X-treme Tour as the Official Ball and Bucket, we are looking forward to another great tour for 2009,” said Chris Coffing, Senior VP of Diamond Sports.  “The bar height has been raised by the PFX Tour yet again, with the best players to play the game, the eight tour stops, and the on the field show that is produced, it cannot be beat.”

The PFX Tour features athletes that have won Olympic Gold Medals, numerous NCAA All-Americans, and collegiate stars.  There are professional games, an amateur tournament, opportunities to meet the pros, the ability to participate in a "Tips from the Pros" clinic, coaches clinic, autograph session, and more.
