Marysville Gold Sox infielder Casey Coy from Northern Colorado University was awarded the Player of the Year Award. Coy batted .341 with a series leading 20 doubles and 40 RBI’s.
Gold Sox pitcher DJ Slaton captured the HASS Pitcher of the Year award. The San Jose State sophomore was 4-0 with a 1.04 ERA for the Gold Sox this season.
Marysville Gold Sox manager Jack Johnson was selected Manager of the Year. Johnson’s club was 32-8 as they captured their 2nd Series Title.
The Gold Sox swept the post season awards with the top prospect award going to Cody Anderson. The junior to be at TCU was selected by the Cleveland Indians in this years MLB draft and signed after the season.
