Santa Ana, CA - Diamond Sports has agreed in terms with National Pro Fastpitch on another three year partnership. The National Pro Fastpitch league consists of four teams; Akron Racers, Chicago Bandits, Carolina Diamonds and USSSA Pride.
“The NPF has worked very hard to make this league a lasting product in women’s professional sports and Diamond is proud to be a part of their drive and commitment,” said Andrea Gordon, President of Diamond Sports. “Another three years as the professional softball of choice for the NPF solidifies our support of this thrilling and growing league!
”Diamond will continue as the Official Ball of the NPF, along with presenting the Coaching Staff of the Year Awards and the Pitcher of the Year Award. The 2011 Coaching Staff of the Year Award was the USSSA Pride. The 2011 Pitcher of the Year Award was split between Cat Osterman and Monica Abbott.
